How To Commission An
Original Lee Porter Australian Artwork

Would you like a one-off Lee Porter artwork of your own? Something that's unique and memorable to you, or as a special gift for a loved one?

Then follow these easy steps:
  • Choose a topic, a theme or photographs of the subject you'd like me to paint
  • Look over my online gallery - is there a similar artwork that I can use as a guide? Then decide...
  • What size you'd like your artwork to be
  • What colours and medium you'd like
  • Your budget, and also
  • What your timeframe is for the work's completion

You can then email me with your ideas and I'll send you a quote.

My quotes include GST (where applicable) and professional framing behind non-reflective glass, but they don't include packaging, freight and insurance (though I'll be happy to assist you with this).

Once we're both clear on what you require you'll need to pay a non-refundable 10% deposit. I'll then send you photos of the finished artwork and if you're happy with the end result I'll arrange to have the painting delivered to your door.

Please note: Even though you've commissioned my artwork the copyright always remains with me. This means you can't reproduce the artwork without my written permission.

Picture at right: This portrait of Australian country music performer Fabian Webb was a 2008 Archibald Prize entry. The painting was done from photos and a live sitting and depicts Fabian on his favourite horse Diamondtina with Widgee Mountain in the background. I put his boot foremost because he said he was a working man first and his music came second. He's surrounded by his cattle property which has been in the family for over 150 years.
